Millennium Information Solution Ltd. (MISL), a subsidiary of Al-Arafah Islami Bank Ltd has won ”Silver” Award (2nd Prize) as ”Islamic Finance Technology Provider of The Year\” at the Islamic Finance Forum for South Asia (IFFSA) Conference & Awards Night 2017. The Gold Award (1st prize) was received by Path Solution, a Middle East-based company having global presence in this field.
This award acclaims recognition to the company that has made the most significant impact in the area of Information Technology, specific to the Islamic Finance industry.
MISL has won the award for developing Ababil, an Islamic Core Banking Solution. The 2nd Islamic Finance Forum for South Asia (IFFSA) Conference & Awards Night was held recently in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
The award was received by Mahmud Hossain, CEO & Managing Director, MISL. In addition to the ”Technology Provider of the Year”, awards were given in various categories which include \”Islamic Bank of the Year’, \”Islamic Banking Window or Unit of the Year”, etc.
Currently, a total of 14 banks and NBFIs are running their Islamic Banking operations and several other modules using ”Ababil”.
